Good Night Pooh! Story Book

A co-worker is having her first child.  Yes, it's a girl, Ashlynne Rose.  Her expected date of arrival was originally on July 18th, but she's growing so fast, mommy was informed little Ashlynne will be here on July 12th.  As a baby shower gift, I do embroidered baby story books.  Here's the latest...

School Skirt

Finally, I finished my youngest daughters' school skirt.  The skirt only took an hour to do, but the zipper gave me trouble.  The only thing I had left to do was to finish the hem line.  I had my daughter try it on to see if I needed to make any adjustments and the dang on zipper broke.   I had to undo the waist band and put in a new zipper.  Here's the finished product.  I think she likes it!

Knitting Inspiration

This ponytail hat was made for my 10 year old daughter. I watched a couple of co-workers do one in no time,so I decided to give it a try

It looked easy when they did it. It was harder for me because I was new to knitting and not use to pearls and knits.

The more I inquired, the more they were willing to teach.
They started. Weekly knitting meeting every Monday at lunchtime.

Then I finally got the hang of it and finished it in no time. I would have made myself one but my hair was quite long enough; not like my daughters.
